- which has undergone a name change this year to be called "Not" The Donkey Derby
- is appealing for more classic cars to take part in its new classic car run for a PS10 donation to charity.

We reckon more than a few of you will remember the days of the Donkey Derby
held at Redcar Racecourse - an event which has come to our attention in the past here at Remember When but one about which we've been able to track down surprisingly few pictures.
As a result of their efforts, I've already had a successful opening benefit gala night and donkey derby

was also a big hit with the audience, and Farmers' Guardian Tractor Factor winners Richard Lewis, 18, from Llanfyllin, and Llion Vaughan, 17, from Llanrhaeadr, performed their winning song Plough On, a parody of Rihanna's hit S&M, supported by their friend Gus Harris, 17.
Other attractions at Bodfach Hall park include a donkey derby
, terrier racing, Punch and Judy, and a 24-hour charity bike ride by Llanfyllin YYFC members.
