With advances in electrodeposited
alloys and other material innovations, the reliability and longevity issues that have plagued MEMS switch developments in the past have been eliminated.
The electrodes used in this step were nickel foam and nickel foam electrodeposited
with manganese oxide, respectively.
Influence of pulse frequency on the microstructure and wear resistance of electrodeposited
Ni-Al2O3 composite coatings.
As shown in Figure 2, nanocrystalline nickel coating was electrodeposited
on the substrate material-304 stainless steel(1Cr18Ni9).
The composition of the tin deposits, which were electrodeposited
from dried [Bmim] HSO4 containing 40 mM SnO at -0.6 V, is examined by EDS.

The compositional analysis conducted through EDX also confirmed the incorporation of AlN nanoparticles in electrodeposited
coatings as shown in Figure 3.

It is for these reasons that the effect of deposition voltage on electrodeposited
CdS thin films using two-electrode system has been studied and reported in this work.
