TUESDAY, April 24, 2018 (HealthDay News) -- Prepubertal children are metabolically comparable to adult endurance athletes, and less fatiguable with high intensity exercise than untrained adults, according to a study published online April 24 in the Frontiers in Physiology.
The diagnosis of MG was based on fatiguable weakness, a positive response to cholinesterase inhibitors and a positive acetylcholine receptor (AChR) antibody test (>0.2 nmol/l) (1) or a positive response to immunotherapy such as plasma exchange or intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) or oral prednisone.
