flatbed scanner for under $1,500.
The WideTEK 25 is a fast, high resolution, color
flatbed scanner for formats up to 25 inches x 18.5 inches.
Vioneer, a provider of personal imaging hardware products, has launched the Visioneer OneTouch 8600 color
flatbed scanner, the first scanner in Visioneer's new Professional Scanner Series and the next generation of their OneTouch product line.
A variation on the
flatbed scanner design is the overhead flatbed.
PaperPort, targeting
flatbed scanner users, is GBP69.99.

PC peripherals manufacturer EPSON (UK) Ltd has introduced a 3200 x 6400 dpi
flatbed scanner designed for high-quality film scanning.
Separately, Fujitsu Europe Ltd has launched a colour
flatbed scanner which can be connected to a printer to function as a desktop digital copier.
