The close spatial association with parent granitic rocks and absence of zoning also reflect the low degree of fractional crystallization
and barren nature of the MGC pegmatites.
These variation trends in the major elements cannot be explained by simple fractional crystallization
process but could be attributable to different degrees of partial melting and a possibly to different mantle sources .
