The 1H-1H COSY 45O spectrum of 1 indicated that the geminally coupled C-1' methylene protons (H = 3.38 and 3.00) showed vicinal couplings with the C-2' methine proton (H = 5.24) further support that the acetyl group was attached at C-2' of the side chain.
