[Modern Hebrew hōrâ, from Romanian horă, ultimately (perhaps via Bulgarian khoro or Turkish hora) from Modern Greek khorós, round dance (perhaps specifically from its accusative form khoró), from Greek khoros; see gher- in Indo-European roots.]
