In a previous paper, (11) our focus was placed on calculating the

invariant mass distribution in the [K.sup.-] + p [right arrow] [SIGMA] + [pi] reaction, which was measured by Hemingway.

For most processes, the generation speed can be improved by setting [p.sup.j.sub.T] = xqcut which is done automatically if the switch auto - ptj - [m.sub.jj] is set to "T" at the time of event generation using MadGraph to control the transverse momentum of the jets ([p.sup.j.sub.T]) and the

invariant mass of the jets ([m.sub.jj]).

We see that the rest-mass [m.sub.0] should really be referred to as the proper mass, to avoid any confusion about the

invariant mass of a body.

An

invariant mass, then, would be based upon the mass of one mole of C-12 atoms.

In the ruling made Tuesday, Judge Sharon Post stated: "We recognize, of course, that electronic transmissions have some physical properties--for example, an electron's

invariant mass is a known quantity--but common sense dictates that there is a fundamental difference between electronic transmissions and Cymaterial things.'"

I mean, I know that the moon is not 25 miles away and made of cheese, but I don't know what the exact distance is or the components of its

invariant mass.

where [mathematical expression not reproducible] are the transverse momentum of the first (second) leading lepton l = {e, [mu]} and jet, respectively; [[eta].sub.e([mu])] is pseudorapidity of e([mu]); [DELTA][[eta].sub.jj] and [M.sub.jj(ll)] is the rapidity difference and

invariant mass of the two leading jets (leptons), respectively.

So, the ATLAS team, while experimental search for heavy resonances of a mass in the scale from 1 to 3.5 TeV decaying into a pair of bosons (i.e., into WW-, WZ-, or ZZ-pairs), discovered an anomalous number of events having an

invariant mass of ~ 2 TeV.

Then, we calculate the

invariant mass formed from J/[PSI] and Ks.

Since they are defined at a fixed [tau], they connect the physical on-shell hadronic state to its quark and gluon parton constituents, not at off-shell energy, but off-shell in

invariant mass squared [M.sup.2] = [([[summation].sub.i][k.sup.[mu].sub.i]).sup.2].
