Contudo, foi verificado no presente trabalho que o modelo K-[epsilon] realizavel apresenta-se mais indicado para jatos livres turbulentos circulares axissimetricos incompressiveis e supersonicos, o que indica que a modelagem de [epsilon] que e baseada na equacao da vorticidade e mais adequada para as condicoes destes regimes de escoamento, enquanto o modelo v2-f mostrou-se mais adequado ao regime subsonico para os casos estudados do presente trabalho.
Para o caso especifico do escoamento de jato livre circular turbulento, existe grande numero de trabalhos que avaliam o desempenho de modelos RANS.
