manipulative therapies
A group of therapies in which practitioners use their hands to bring about positive changes in a person’s physique and which include the Alexander Technique, bone setting, chiropractic, the Feldenkrais method, kinesiology, the laying on of hands, massage, osteopathy, polarity therapy, reflexology, rolfing, therapeutic touch and traction.
