Para isso, foram selecionados dois residuos madeireiros: serragem de marupa (SIAMP) e de pau de balsa (SAPB); e dois residuos de origem agro-industrial: bagaco de cana-de-acucar (SIACN) e estipe de pupunheira (SIAPP).
As especies utilizadas foram goncalo-alves (Astronium fraxinifolium Schott), guanandi (Calophyllum brasiliense Cambess.), ipe-amarelo (Handroanthus serratifolius (Vahl.), ipe-rosa (Handroanthus impetiginosa (Mart.)
