multi-Service publication

A publication containing principles, terms, tactics, techniques, and procedures used by the forces of two or more Services to perform a common military function. It is approved by two or more Services and is promulgated as a Service publication. It may include differing perspectives on operational employment. It is authoritative to the same extent as other Service publications but requires judgment in application. It must be consistent with approved joint publications.
