Dilated fundus examination with funduscopic biomicroscopy with Volk Super 66 stereo fundus lens revealed prominently swollen left optic disc
with a focal whitish-yellow elevated fluffy area of retinochoroiditis on the temporal margin.
Early changes include hyperemia and swelling of the optic disc
leading to a papilledema like appearance.
d) Anomalous inferior retinal nerve fibre layer measurements on optic disc
The ocular manifestations of anaemia are dry eye, conjunctival haemorrhage, lid haematoma, orbital haemorrhage, retinal haemorrhage, subhyaloid haemorrhage, central retinal vein occlusion, vitreous haemorrhage, optic disc
oedema and optic neuropathy.
The inclusion criteria were as follows: (1) a history of sudden visual loss, without other ocular, systemic, or neurological diseases that might cause visual damage; (2) optic disc
edema; and (3) optic disc-related VF defects.
It manifests as changes in the structure and colour of the optic disc
. The optic disc
is the portion of the optic nerve that is visible on examination of the inside of the eye.
Ten slices at 100 [micro]m distance were taken into consideration from ora serrata (level 1), optic disc
(level 3), and the half distance between levels 1 and 3 (level 2) (Fig.1B).
(111213) With the widely used SD-OCT devices, the optic disc
margins are estimated clinically and RNFL thickness measurements are made by accepting the 0-180[degrees] horizontal line passing through the ONH center as the horizontal meridian (Figure 1).
An eye was considered normal if it had an IOP of <21 mmHg, an optic disc
with normal ophthalmoscopic appearance and normal visual field test results.
Models trained to determine the patients sex looked at the optic disc
, blood vessels and macula.
The incision site was chosen on the nasal side of the optic disc
, radial to the optic disc
and parallel to the nerve-fiber pattern.
Mustafa Iqbal delivered lecture on Retina (Optic Disc
Pit) during the three days conference concluded the other day.
