In our study wind obstacles of the area surrounding the meteorological fields of the stations in a 1000 m radius were analysed retrospectively by use of plans in archives of meteorological stations (1966-1990), and large-scale maps (1 : 10 000), orthophotographs (1:2000 and 1:10 000) and tachymetrical survey data collected during field works in 1995, 2003 and 2005-2008.
