If the muon and tau leptons are excited states of the electron derivable from (25), this would imply that the neutrino portion would also be specific to the muon and tau lepton excited states, thus leading to muon and tau neutrinos.

We are aware that the precision that could be achieved in determining the energy of the primary tau lepton will be low; nonetheless the primary interest of this work is the detection technique and we leave the development of a possible energy estimator for future work.
SLAC physicists have won three Nobel prizes for discoveries of quarks and an elementary particle called the tau lepton, known today as fundamental building blocks of matter.
