Ensemble Berlin-Prag Jan Dismas Zelenka Trio Sonatas
On both occasions the musicians will perform the Trio Sonatas by the Czech composer and musician Jan Dismas Zelenka.
At the very least, several manuscripts of concertos and trio sonatas clearly derive from the collection of Eduard Grell (1800-1887), a Berlin composer, conductor, organist, teacher, and director of the Sing-Akademie zu Berlin from 1853 to 1876.
