Tucked in between the Target store and Firehouse Subs on Fruitville Road lives Cafe Italia, a little Italian cafe that serves the best veal Parmesan. And you know how seriously we take our veal Parmesan.
While there are several "comfort food" options, like Shepherd's Pie, meatloaf and Veal Parmesan for $10.99 each, there are new options as well: Wiener Schnitzel ($17.99) and a Porterhouse Chop - 10 ounces of grilled chop, topped with Fuji apples ($14.79) - or filet mignon (at $20.99, about the most expensive menu item one can order).
Not many anglers have ever thought of preparing their fish this way, which is a shame, because a slice of good fish is more flavorful than chicken breast and more tender than most of the cutlets used in veal parmesan.
