Rhabdomyolysis from Coxsackie virus is generally rare.

Serological tests for Cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, Coxsackie virus, Parvovirus, Hepatitis viruses, Human immunodeficiency virus, Toxoplasma and Brucella were negative.
