With Orum's proprietary design, these antibodies escape the early endosome into the
cytosol. Once in the
cytosol, the antibodies can be therapeutically active and directly target disease-causing proteins or deliver payloads.

It is produced when the DNA sensor, cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (cGAS), detects the presence of nucleic acids in the
cytosol of mammalian cells as an indicator of bacterial or viral infection.

cytosol into the matrix via pyruvate transporter, pumping of sodium, potassium from the matrix into the intermembrane space /cytosol, phosphate transport from the
cytosol into the matrix space, and ATP generation by the F0F1-ATPase.
