MRI imaging focused on the whole brain and on the bilateral insula, dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex, and superior
frontal gyrus. Patients kept headache diaries throughout the trial.
Compared with the normal elderlies, ReHo values decreased in aMCI patients in the left temporal lobe (middle temporal gyrus and inferior temporal gyrus), left parahippocampal gyrus, occipital lobe, lingual gyrus, precuneus, and other regions (P<0.05; Figure 3, Table 1), while ReHo values increased in the right side frontal lobe (inferior
frontal gyrus), left superior temporal gyrus, precentral gyrus (frontal lobe), right thalamus, the left fusiform gyrus, and other regions (P<0.05; Figure 4, Table 2).
Participants' brain activation while correctly remembering names was significantly greater in four brain cortical regions (including the middle
frontal gyrus, inferior temporal gryus, middle temporal gyrus, and fusiform gyrus) after exercise compared to after rest.
(7) Middle
frontal gyrus - angular gyrus: A region of the cerebral cortex involved in attention function.
Craniotomy done in middle
frontal gyrus and deepened.
A main effect of deception, such that lying will be associated with greater recruitment of cortical areas associated with executive control (middle
frontal gyrus, superior parietal lobule; anterior cingulate cortex (ACC)) than truth telling.
They found that viewing a hated person increased the activity in several brain regions, including the medial
frontal gyrus, right putamen, premotor cortex, frontal pole, and medial insula bilaterally.
The researchers found that elderly individuals who perceived themselves as younger than their real age showed larger GM volume in the inferior
frontal gyrus and the superior temporal gyrus.
Before the intervention found that areas related to anomia were the superior
frontal gyrus, the angular gyrus and the superior temporal gyrus and a half I left mainly hemisphere.
Jingping Zhao and colleagues conducted a series of studies on patients with adolescent onset schizophrenia (AOS) and found that there was an increase of functional connectivity strength (FCS) in the left cerebellum VI and right inferior
frontal gyrus / insular lobe of the first-episode, drug-naive AOS patients.
This delay was found to be statistically higher adjacent to the
frontal gyrus (adjacent to the inferior
frontal gyrus, p<0.05) and at the vertex of the brain (precentral sulcus, p<0.01).
At baseline, adolescents who later transitioned into heavy drinking had smaller ACC, posterior cingulate cortex, and inferior
frontal gyrus (IFG) gray-matter volumes.
