Rouletabille took the eggs, which had been brought to him in a bowl, and the meat which was on a dish, placed all carefully beside him in the chimney, unhooked a frying-pan and a gridiron, and began to beat up our
omelette before proceeding to grill our beefsteak.
"May I ask you to bring up some herbs from the farm- garden to make a savoury
omelette? Sage and thyme, and mint and two onions, and some parsley.
Here's what he's ordered for his breakfast to-morrow: '
Omelette with Herbs.
They sat down at a vacant table and waited for the
