RAWALPINDI -- Director General Inter-Services Public Relations Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor on Wednesday reiterated unflinching support to people in Occupied Kashmir and said Pakistan can go to any limit to support their just right to
self-determination. 'Kashmir is our jugular vein and we can go to any limit for right of
self-determination to people in Occupied Kashmir whatever the cost may be,' he told media persons at a news conference.
Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday said India must not forget that the nation struggling for its right to
self-determination cannot be defeated by guns.
In such a scenario, it is imperative for Pakistan to take certain measures to help stop the egregious rights abuses in IOK and take forward the issue of
self-determination for Kashmiris.

Talking to APP on the eve of the Jammu Kashmir Peoples 'Right to
Self-determination Day', observed on Saturday, the Chairman Kashmir Council EU said Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) and Kashmiri diaspora abroad observe the Right to
Self-determination Day on January 5 every year in order to remind the world that the UN's resolutions on Kashmir including a particular resolution on their right of
self-determination remain unimplemented even after seven decades.
The United Nations General Assembly unanimously passed a Pakistan-sponsored resolution reaffirming people's right to
self-determination and calling on countries to immediately cease their foreign military intervention in and occupation of foreign countries and territories, as well as acts of repression, discrimination and maltreatment.
The Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has unanimously passed Pakistan's resolution on the right of
self-determination.
ISLAMABAD -- Condemning the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Ameen Gandapur said that Kashmiris' struggle for their legitimate right of
self-determination cannot be suppressed with military might.
